The mini-oasis of the tree and attending sculptures near the Art Point building offer a respite for human and more-than-human residents and passersby. LIM team members from the community remember the owner in the 1990s carving the giant remains of trees for placement around the grounds of Art Point. These will all likely be removed with the imminent development of the new LRT line. The research conducted here celebrates localized memories and highlights the importance of art and urban ecology in the community fabric of Ramsay.
